Connect Windsurf to your task board

To connect Windsurf to a task board, add Weft — a task board with an MCP server — to Windsurf and sign in once. It takes about three minutes and is free for 50 tasks. After that, Windsurf creates, moves and finishes tasks on your board when you ask.

    Create a free Weft account.

    Weft is free for 50 tasks. Pro from $5/seat/month billed yearly.

    Add Weft in Windsurf.

    1. 1Open Windsurf → Settings → Cascade → MCP servers.
    2. 2Click "Add server" and choose Remote (HTTP).
    3. 3Paste the Weft MCP URL below and save.
    4. 4Complete OAuth in the browser window that opens.

    Complete the OAuth popup.

    On first use, Windsurf opens a browser window so you can authorize with your Weft account. Sign in once — the client remembers you after that.

    Verify it works.

    Open Cascade and ask: "what's on my board?". Cascade tags responses that used the Weft server.

Does Windsurf support MCP?

Yes. Windsurf connects to remote MCP servers, and Weft is one: a single endpoint, https://letsweft.com/api/mcp. You sign in once in the browser; there is no API key to copy.

Where do I add an MCP server in Windsurf?

In Windsurf itself, not in a file. Start here: Open Windsurf → Settings → Cascade → MCP servers.

Is Weft free to use with Windsurf?
