Connect JetBrains IDEs to your task board
Junie writes the code; Weft keeps the receipts.
To connect JetBrains IDEs to a task board, add Weft — a task board with an MCP server — to JetBrains IDEs and sign in once. It takes about three minutes and is free for 50 tasks. After that, JetBrains IDEs creates, moves and finishes tasks on your board when you ask.
Weft is the AI task manager for solo founders and small teams.
IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm, GoLand, Rider and the rest ship Junie, the JetBrains coding agent. Give Junie the board and its plans stop living in one IDE window: you see what it claimed, what it finished, and what it skipped.
JetBrains IDEs MCP setup
JetBrains IDEs MCP docs ↗Connect through Junie — it runs the OAuth flow in your browser. AI Assistant’s own MCP settings accept the same URL but do not perform the OAuth handshake, so Weft belongs in Junie’s mcp.json. For one project only, use .junie/mcp/mcp.json in the repository root.
