MCP is a Raycast Pro feature. After installing, Raycast also adds an "Ask Weft" command, and @weft works in AI Chat and Quick AI.

    Create a free Weft account.

    Weft is free for 50 tasks. Pro from $5/seat/month billed yearly.

    Add Weft in Raycast.

    1. 1Open Raycast and run the "Install MCP Server" command.
    2. 2Name it "Weft" and set Transport to HTTP.
    3. 3Paste the Weft MCP URL below as the URL — no headers.
    4. 4Set OAuth Type to Dynamic, install, then choose Sign In and finish OAuth.

    Complete the OAuth popup.

    On first use, Raycast opens a browser window so you can authorize with your Weft account. Sign in once — the client remembers you after that.

    Verify it works.

    In AI Chat type: "@weft what's on my board?" — Raycast answers with your columns and tasks.

Raycast and MCP: common questions

Does Raycast support MCP?

Yes. Raycast connects to remote MCP servers, and Weft is one: a single endpoint, https://letsweft.com/api/mcp. You sign in once in the browser; there is no API key to copy.

Where do I add an MCP server in Raycast?

In Raycast itself, not in a file. Start here: Open Raycast and run the "Install MCP Server" command.

Is Weft free to use with Raycast?
