Connect Goose to your task board
Open-source agent, shared board.
To connect Goose to a task board, add Weft — a task board with an MCP server — to Goose and sign in once. It takes about three minutes and is free for 50 tasks. After that, Goose creates, moves and finishes tasks on your board when you ask.
Weft is the AI task manager for solo founders and small teams.
The open-source agent that started at Block and now lives in the Agentic AI Foundation. It runs on your machine with whatever model you like; Weft gives it the one thing a local agent lacks — a board other clients, and you, can see.

- “Create a task: "write the migration rollback", priority high.”
- “Start the top task and report progress as you go.”
- “What finished work is waiting for my review?”
Goose and MCP: common questions
Does Goose support MCP?
Yes. Goose connects to remote MCP servers, and Weft is one: a single endpoint, https://letsweft.com/api/mcp. You sign in once in the browser; there is no API key to copy.
Where do I add an MCP server in Goose?
In Goose itself, not in a file. Start here: Run `goose configure` in your terminal.
Is Weft free to use with Goose?
Yes, for up to 50 tasks, with no credit card. Pro removes the limit.
What can Goose do on my Weft board?
Create, update, move and complete tasks, plan and run sprints, sort work into projects and search across all of it: 32 MCP tools in all.
