Tell your AI.
It runs your board
Weft is the AI task manager for solo founders and small teams. Connect your Claude, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT once — then tasks appear, move and ship while you talk.
Free: 50 tasks + 200 AI calls a month · No credit card required
Your AI tools don’t share a plan.
ChatGPT captures an idea. Cursor finds a bug. Claude plans the launch. Without one shared board, those decisions stay trapped in separate conversations — and you still update the project manager by hand.
Capture work where it happens
Any AI conversation can file a task the moment it comes up — no copy-pasting into a second app.
Give every AI the same context
Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT read and update one board, so each conversation starts from the current state of your work.
Finish one sprint, not five lists
One active sprint at a time keeps you shipping instead of collecting half-finished plans.
Talk in any AI. The board stays current.
Whether the update comes from ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude or you, everyone sees the same sprint.

Open Claude Code in your editor. Ask what’s in Doing, pick up yesterday’s work.
- 11:00
Customer pings you — tell ChatGPT to log a high-priority follow-up.
- 15:00
Finish a feature. Cursor files the follow-up TODOs it spotted in the diff.

“Close today’s sprint, start tomorrow’s with these three items.”
How Weft works
Three threads make a fabric: your goals, your execution, and the AI that ties them together.
Your warp
Sprints, goals, priorities — the vertical strand. This is your plan.
Your weft
Daily tasks move across columns — Backlog, Todo, Doing, Done. This is your shipping.
The shuttle
Your Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT pulls tasks across through MCP. Ask it, it does.
Under the hood this is Scrumban — kanban flow with time-boxed sprints. Enough structure to ship, none of the ceremony.
Connect once. Keep using the AI you already know.
No new chat app to learn — Weft plugs into the AI tools you already pay for.

Solo founders & small teams.
Weft is for solo founders first — small teams of two to ten grow into it. Not 50-person orgs, not enterprise procurement.
You are the team.
PM, dev, designer, support — you wear every hat, and context-switching is the bottleneck. A todo app loses you; Jira and Linear are more process than one person needs.
Why Scrumban
Kanban flexibility with sprint deadlines. No standups, no grooming — a board that makes you finish before you start.
Why AI integration
You don’t have a PM. Your Claude or Cursor already is one — give it a board and it captures, prioritizes and tells you what’s blocked.
- Unlimited tasks from $5/mo (annual)
- Offline-first iOS & Android apps
- < 1 min to first task — zero setup
Two to ten people who ship.
You outgrew a Notion doc. You don’t need Jira. Everyone already uses AI — but nothing shared catches what it does, so every tool becomes a silo.
Why Scrumban
Scrum is too much ceremony for five people; kanban alone loses urgency. Scrumban keeps the milestones without the rituals.
Why AI integration
Each teammate plugs their own AI into the same MCP endpoint. Every AI sees one board and updates one state.
- Shared board, sprints, owner/member roles
- One price per seat: $60/seat/yr, any team size
- Owner pays, members just work

They’re great tools — built to scale into big organizations. Weft is shaped for one person, or a few, working with AI every day.

Frequently asked
Do I need a paid Claude / ChatGPT subscription to use Weft?
You use your own AI subscription — Weft doesn’t proxy models. The free tiers of Claude.ai and ChatGPT work fine; MCP-capable clients (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex CLI, ChatGPT) are the entry points. You pay for your AI once and use it everywhere, including here.
Is my data private? Who sees my tasks?
Only you (and teammates you invite). Weft stores your tasks in a dedicated Postgres database; we don’t train models on your data and we don’t share it. Your AI client reads and edits your board only through Weft’s task tools, and only for the account you signed in with.
Can my AI change things without me asking?
It acts when you prompt it, and only through Weft’s explicit task tools — creating, moving and updating tasks. It can’t touch billing, invites or account settings. Every change is recorded in the task’s history, so you can always see what happened and put it back.
What counts as an AI tool call?
One action your AI takes on the board — creating a task, moving a card, reading the sprint. A short conversation usually makes a handful of calls. Free includes 200 a month (first 48 hours unlimited); Pro is unlimited.
Is the Free plan time-limited?
No — Free is free forever. Its limits are 50 active tasks on the board and 200 AI tool calls a month (your first 48 hours are unlimited). Finish or delete tasks to stay on Free, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited. No countdown, no surprise charges.
Does it work offline?
Native iOS and Android apps are offline-first — your board keeps working on a plane and syncs when you’re back online. On desktop you use the full web app; native desktop apps are in development. The MCP endpoint itself needs connectivity, since your AI talks to the server.
Can I use this as a team?
Yes. Invite teammates on any Pro workspace — shared board, shared sprints, owner/member roles. A seat is the same price at every team size — $7/month, or $60/year — so adding a teammate adds one seat and nobody else’s rate moves. Personal workspaces stay free for everyone on a paid team.
Can I cancel anytime? Refunds?
Cancel from Billing in the app — you keep Pro until the period ends, then drop to Free. Full refund within 7 days of purchase; on yearly plans we also refund within 14 days if you have not substantially used Pro. Monthly plans end at the period without a refund. See the refund policy for details.
What’s different about Scrumban?
It’s kanban (continuous flow, WIP limits) with just enough Scrum (time-boxed sprints) to force shipping milestones. For solo founders, it’s the sweet spot: less ceremony than Scrum, more structure than a todo list.
Can I self-host?
Not today. Weft is cloud-only while we focus on the MVP. If self-hosting matters to you, let us know via the support page — we’ll let you know if that changes.
