Create Task
create_task is one of the 32 MCP tools in Weft, the AI task manager you run by talking to Claude, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT through one MCP endpoint. Create a new task on the user's board. Lands in Backlog if no column is set. Priority defaults to medium. Use when the user asks to add a task.

Check kinds: http (url → expected status + optional mustContain), citation (url + quote that must appear on the page), string_check, file_hash (sha256 among the artifacts), human_checklist (items only you can judge — resolved when you accept). Statuses and results are written by the server only. |

Annotaties
Standaard schrijftool. De tool wijzigt de staat; MCP-clients mogen hem aanroepen zodra ze weten wat de gebruiker wil. Of de client om bevestiging vraagt, is de keuze van de client; de specificatie van het Model Context Protocol raadt aan een mens in de lus te houden die aanroepen van tools kan weigeren.
