Start Working on Task
start_task is one of the 32 MCP tools in Weft, the AI task manager you run by talking to Claude, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT through one MCP endpoint. The AI calls this the moment it begins executing a task — the card moves to Doing so the user and every other connected client see it in progress (and don’t pick it up twice). Starts cycle-time tracking; an unassigned task is claimed by the calling agent (an existing assignee is never overridden). No column id needed.

Anotações
- idempotente. Chamar a ferramenta duas vezes com os mesmos argumentos tem o mesmo efeito que chamá-la uma vez.
