Create Task

create_task is one of the 32 MCP tools in Weft, the AI task manager you run by talking to Claude, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT through one MCP endpoint. Create a new task on the user's board. Lands in Backlog if no column is set. Priority defaults to medium. Use when the user asks to add a task.

verification{ mode, checks[] }לאHow "done" will be checked — the server executes these checks on complete_task. mode "executable"/"state_delta" lets fully-passed work close itself; "checklist"/"human" always stops at you. Check kinds: http (url → expected status + optional mustContain), citation (url + quote that must appear on the page), string_check, file_hash (sha256 among the artifacts), human_checklist (items only you can judge — resolved when you accept). Statuses and results are written by the server only.
blockedByuuid[]לאTasks that must finish first. The task derives agentState "blocked" while any is open and leaves ready-sets; it unblocks the moment the last blocker completes. Cycles are refused.
